"types" of chihuahuas are short hair and long hair.
People refer to applehead
chihuahuas as chihuahuas that have a well rounded dome skull (apple shaped),
and short snout. This is actually how the American Kennel Club defines a
chihauhua, so in essence, an applehead chihuahua meets more of the definition
of a chihuahua.
The bottom line is, an
applehead chihuahua is a chihuahua. Chihuahuas, like people come in all shapes
and sizes. Some chihuahuas will have a more applehead than others. The most
important part is making sure your chihuahua is happy and healthy.
